Weather metaphors

In our plenary for our literacy lesson we have shared some of the metaphors that we have been writing about the weather.
The fog is a blind world (OR)
The sun is the oven pouring heat (OR)
The sun is earth's blanket (BF)
The sun is a flower's friend (BF)
The rain is a plant's hero (JA)
The rain is God's tears as he cries (JA)
The rain is a plane of water bombs falling from the sky (RH)
The snow is a white blanket being thrown at the earth (AJ)
The rain is an army of water to the earth (TA)
The snow is a boulder of hail (TA)
The sun is a hard warm rock (JOG)
The snow is a dangerous ice machine (JOG)
The sun is the universes heart pumping life in to planets (BW)
The fog is a car blindfold (RJ)
The snow is an Earth freezer (RJ)
The fog is a blindfold to people (BF)
The fog is a driver's worst enemy (BF)
The rain is people crying in the air (MS)
The ice is cold and freezing (MS)
The rain is an AK 47 shooting down at the earth (DE)
The snow is fairies dressed in white (LG)
The snow is fairies painting the earth white (AJ)
